UE Red Warriors enters the finals after defeating the San Beda Red Lions

Red Warriors outrebounded the Red Lions 40-19. Ganni Stevens grabbed 10 rebounds alone for the UE to help his team win a crucial do or die game.


The UE immediately held a six to nothing run at the start of the game, but San Beda quickly answers after their first timeout. Joshua Tangala shoots a two points at 4:22 mark of the first to lead the game.


The guys from Recto quickly blasted in the second quarter bringing their lead to 13 with a Salgado basket at the 7:50 mark of the second period. Yukien Andrada never took back as he scores a three at 2:06 mark of the second quarter to bring the lead down to 3. 


Both teams comes to a close and tight game in the fourth, Brendon Ocampo sinks two foul shots to bring the deficit back to 2, but UE's Abdul Sawat gains a freethrow oppurtunity where he sank both shots to bring the game back to a two possession ball game. San Beda still tried to catch up but Josiah Alcantara shoots a lights out 3 to secure the game for the Red Warriors with 12 seconds left in the ball game.


Harvey Pagsanjuan finishes the game with 16 points and 2 assists. Kyle Paranada scored 12 and dishes out 4 assists and grabbed 3 rebounds to help their team book a finals bout against Enderun Titans


Kent Pelipel scored game high 26 points with 8/9 shooting and Alex Visser having 14 points and 5 rebounds wasn't enough for the San Beda to win.
