This week's collegiate power rankings did not see any dramatic shake ups but it showed everyone that the programs that everyone expected to show up have been the protagonists so far.

On top of the mountain still are the San Beda University Red Lions as they have been the benchmark early this season. With their talent, consistency and discipline, they have built another championship squad in the making.

Not far behind, are the De La Salle Green Archers and University of the Philippines Fighting Maroons as they have also played well so far resulting to a Quarterfinal slot in the NSAC. The Green Archers defeated College of Saint Benilde while The Fighting Maroons zoomed past the Adamson Falcons.

The National University Bulldogs and the University of Santo Tomas Growling Tigers round up the Top 5 after having had a good week after finishing unbeaten in their games in NSAC and UBelt Cup.

Remaining in the 6th spot is the Jose Rizal University Heavy Bombers who have been on a roll lately. It would be interesting to see if they can continue their hot streak in their succeeding games.

Meanwhile it has been a struggle for the Benilde Blazers and Letran Knights this week as they ended up 1-3 and 0-2 respectively. But it is expected that these two will bounce back the soonest once given a chance.

Completing the top 10 are the Far Eastern University Tamaraws and Ateneo De Manila University Blue Eagles who have boosted their lineups with talented players.

The only movement in this week's rankings came from Our Lady of Fatima University Phoenix as they climb a spot to 24th with their performance in UBelt Cup where they were able to upset Letran 75-64.

Week 4 have focused more on stability but as the weeks progresses, the teams with depth are expected to show their stuff and separate themselves with others. Basketball fans are anticipating who among these teams will make a statement and prove that they are ready for prime time.
