San Juan routs Muntinlupa for 17th win

The San Juan Knights – Go For Gold routed the Muntinlupa Cagers, 91-63, last Monday as the team continued to pile up victories in the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL) Lakan Season at the Filoil Flying V Centre.

The Knights stayed on a winning roll as they claimed their 17th win in 19 games with Mark Cardona topscoring for the home side with 19 points and contributing 6 assists. John Wilson scored 16 points and Larry Rodriguez had 14 points and 8 rebounds in the win.

Cardona and Wilson totaled 7 triples in the game to lead the rout of the Knights over the Cagers who suffered their 15th loss in 19 matches.

San Juan also got help from others as Joseph Ubalde and Michael Ayon Ayon had 11 points each and Jhonard Clarito had 10 points and 10 rebounds.
