Another Mocon is coming in the 2021 PBA Rookie Draft

Another Mocon is coming to the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA).

On Tuesday, Kenneth Mocon, brother of Javee Mocon of the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters, has submitted his application to the league office- formalizing his entry into the 2021 PBA Rookie Draft class.

Although the 27-year old Kenneth Mocon stayed in San Beda for college, he never left a mark with the Red Lions. Instead, his game blossomed during his amateur career both in the PBA D-League and in the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL). 

In the MPBL, he played for the Davao Occidental Tigers where he averaged five points, 1.8 rebounds, 1.7 assists, and a steal during the last Lakan Cup. He also shot 40% from the field. 

The younger Mocon joins a draft class that is already loaded with MPBL standouts who are hoping to land a career in the professional ranks.
