Ricci Rivero leads Gilas Pilipinas to FIBA 3x3 Asia Cup 2019

Ricci Rivero will lead the Gilas Pilipinas 3x3 team to the FIBA 3x3 Asia Cup 2019 set May 22 to 26 in Changsha, China.

The University of the Philippines standout will be teaming up with Barkley Ebona and high school standouts Rhayyan Amsali and RJ Abarrientos as they represent the country in the competition.

Ronnie Magsanoc will serve as the coach of the squad as they vie for the crown.

In the competition, the Gilas Pilipinas 3x3 is bracketed with fourth-seed Qatar, Iran, Samoa, and Thailand in Qualifying Draw A. Four teams each are also in Qualifying Draw B and C where they will also vie to join the pool play.

Gilas Pilipinas 3x3 needs to top Qualifying Draw A where they will be joined in Pool B by China and New Zealand.
