With five games packed into a single day, teams continued to establish their identities, test their adjustments, and measure themselves against new competition. As the tournament progresses, every game is becoming an opportunity for teams to prove they belong among Season 5's contenders. Another reminder of the depth of talent spread across the Pinoyliga Cup ecosystem.

Game 1 | OLFU Phoenix def. LPU Pirates, 90-86

The first game of the day featured a tightly contested battle between the OLFU Phoenix and LPU Pirates. LPU's aggressive defense made life difficult for OLFU early, forcing the Phoenix to adjust throughout the game to find scoring opportunities. Despite the pressure, OLFU managed to stay within striking distance as the teams traded momentum throughout a competitive first half. Leading the Pirates was Carl Nocum, who finished with 21 points while shooting 43 percent from the field.

The game remained neck-and-neck entering the fourth quarter, with both teams exchanging baskets possession after possession. OLFU found a second wind late in the game, but LPU answered with back-to-back three-pointers to keep the deficit within one possession. With both teams in the penalty and tensions rising, OLFU held a narrow 88-86 lead with four seconds remaining. A late foul by the Pirates sent the Phoenix to the free-throw line, where they converted both attempts to secure the 90-86 victory. Lee Harvey Suelto earned Player of the Game honors with 23 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist, and 2 steals.

Game 2 | SPC Ravens def. PCU Dasmariñas Dolphins, 82-73

Making their Pinoyliga Collegiate Cup Season 5 debuts, both the SPC Ravens and PCU Dasmariñas Dolphins entered the day eager to make a strong first impression. The Ravens gradually gained control through their perimeter shooting and aggressive drives to the basket, building a 44-36 halftime advantage behind the scoring of Lance Miranda, who finished with 17 points.

The Dolphins continued to fight their way back, but SPC never allowed the gap to shrink significantly. A physical fourth quarter featured frequent whistles and even a coach's challenge from the Ravens, but SPC remained composed down the stretch. Leading the way was Samuel Alphonsus, who nearly recorded a double-double with 15 points and 9 rebounds while adding 2 assists, 4 blocks, and 6 steals in a dominant all-around performance.

Game 3 | UPHSD Altas def. OC Sea Lions, 71-49

Entering their third game of the tournament, the UPHSD Altas looked to extend their unbeaten start against the OC Sea Lions. While the Sea Lions kept things close early and trailed by only two points at halftime, the defending momentum quickly shifted after the break.

The Altas took complete control in the second half, steadily building their lead behind relentless defense and efficient offense. By the end of the third quarter, UPHSD had stretched the margin to 16 points and never looked back. Lorenzo Diamyuga paced the Altas with 10 points and 2 steals, while OC's Jack Mpeck battled hard with a double-double of 11 points and 10 rebounds. The victory improved UPHSD to 3-0 in Season 5.

Game 4 | EAC Generals def. UST Growling Tigers, 92-82

Fresh off their opening-game victory, the EAC Generals continued their strong start against the UST Growling Tigers, who were making their Season 5 debut. UST showed flashes of brilliance early behind the scoring of Isaac Danting, who erupted for a game-high 27 points, while Kirk Canete orchestrated the offense with 8 assists.

Despite UST's strong ball movement, EAC's defensive pressure ultimately proved to be the difference. The Generals recorded an impressive 18 steals, converting many of them into transition points while building a 49-38 halftime lead. Every time the Tigers attempted to close the gap in the fourth quarter, EAC responded. Joseph Nunag earned Player of the Game honors with 15 points, 9 rebounds, 1 assist, and 5 steals, while Jude Bagay added 19 points to help secure another Generals victory.

Game 5 | Benilde Blazers def. St. Clare Saints, 84-77

The final game of the day delivered one of the most physical matchups of the tournament so far as the Benilde Blazers faced the defending eight-time NAASCU champions, St. Clare Saints. From the opening quarter, St. Clare's physical style and Benilde's relentless effort created a tense battle, with the Saints holding a narrow 18-17 lead after the first period.

As the game wore on, Benilde embraced the challenge. The Blazers moved the ball efficiently, finishing with 21 assists and 10 steals while shooting an impressive 57 percent from the field. Player of the Game Jio Gonzaga led the charge with 26 points, while Alaine Cajucom contributed 11 points and 5 assists. St. Clare fought behind Musa Diona's double-double of 18 points and 10 rebounds, but Benilde's pace, precision, and execution allowed the Blazers to pull away in the fourth quarter and secure the 84-77 victory.
