The fast paced style of todays game might not be to the liking of Tito Ballers, but there is one league that brings them all together to play the brand of basketball that they are accustomed to. Enter Pinoyliga Cup Above 40 Inter Alumni.

Turns out, more than bringing the Tito ballers together, the league also brought to life memories of the 80's and 90's NCAA as it has in its roster of teams participating, long time NCAA teams San Beda, Letran and San Sebastian. Pinoyliga Founder Benny Benitez, himself a Bedan and a long time NCAA fan said, " Im very excited to see the teams that I used to watch at the old Rizal Memorial Coliseum complete". He adds " Im also thrilled to be in the same floor as that of my NCAA heroes both from San Beda and from the other teams"

San Beda parades former Red Cubs and UST Tiger Richie Melencio and Shin Dela Cruz. Also in the line up is Arnold Oliveros, a former Red Lion. Letran, who parades 3 teams in the tournament, has Chris Cantonjos, a former Squire and Bon Bon Lim, the brother of Skywalker Samboy Lim. The Golden Stags of Baste, on the other hand, has Paul Riguera, Jam Alfad and Christian Coronel.

The league invites teams to be part of its growing community. Benitez closed out by saying " This is the home of the NCAA and the UAAP alumni teams, we welcome everyone in the mid 30's and in their 40's to build an alumni team that can compete at this level"

Basketball indeed has no borders.
