Dasmariñas wins third straight game in NBL action

The Dasmariñas Ballers extended their winning streak to three after beating the Bulacan Starks, 79-71, last May 26 in the National Basketball League (NBL) Season 2 at the Imus Sports Complex.

Vincent Gabriana finished with 25 points and 11 rebounds to lead Dasmariñas to the victory as it has reached across the .500 mark after losing their first two games of the season.

Imus, meantime, won its second consecutive game after defeating Zamboanga, 92-62, last May 26.

Jepoy Sarao had 14 points and nine rebounds, while John Rafael Bautista had 13 points for Imus. Vincent Alves had 12 points, six rebounds, and three blocks for the Bandila, who beat erstwhile unbeaten Iriga City last week.

The Bandila now hold a 4-2 card, while dealing the Valientes their fifth loss in six outings.

In matches last May 26 at the Bren Z. Guiao Convention Center in San Fernando, Pampanga, the Pampanga Delta defeated the Quezon City Rising Stars, 83-60. Harryson Bautista had 11 points, six rebounds, seven assists, and three steals for the Delta.

Richmond Sunga had 11 points, five assists, and four steals as the Parañaque Aces snapped a two-game losing skid with an 82-56 win over the Pasig Rios to gain a 4-2 win-loss slate.
