“We are for real,” says Parks on Blackwater’s 3-0 start

There is no doubt in Bobby Ray Parks Jr.’s mind – Blackwater is for real.

The Elite have won three straight games to start off the PBA Commissioner’s Cup campaign. Last May 26, Blackwater once again was on the winning side of things as the Elite beat the Columbian Dyip, 118-110.

“We are for real,” said Parks.

Parks finished with 20 points or more for the third straight time to start off his PBA career as he had 23 points in Blackwater’s victory over Columbian.

Parks though made it clear he is not alone in contributing to Blackwater’s hot start.

“It goes to show the hard work we put in. We are young and it’s a different type of Blackwater right now. These games, they are no fluke. We took teams down the wire. It just happened that the breaks of the game came our way. Those are great teams.

“It’s a testament to the hardwork from the coaches, to the ball boys, us, management. And we are reaping the benefits,” said Parks.
