Uyloan powers Taguig to M-League win over San Juan

The Taguig Generals beat Solid San Juan, 89-83, last April 16 in the Metro League Reinforced Second Conference at the Hagonoy Sports Complex in Taguig City.

The Generals are now at 2-0 after ex-pro Jonathan Uyloan finished with 19 points, 7 assists, and 5 steals.

Taguig finished the game with a 13-3 run to overcome a 76-80 deficit on its way to sharing the lead in the Southern Division with Bacoor.

Taguig import Emmanuel Ojoula had 14 points and 14 rebounds, as Kevin Oliveria had 10 points for the Generals.

Michael Canete had 21 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 assists but San Juan suffered two straight defeats.

In other results, Quezon City beat Manila, 83-76, with Jefferson Comia finishing with 15 points.
