Thirdy Ravena wins Collegiate Player of the Year

Thirdy Ravena has been named as the Collegiate Player of the Year award which will be given to him during the 2019 Chooks to Go Collegiate Press Corps Awards Night presented by Sportsvision on May 27 at Amelie Hotel Manila.

The Ateneo star player was adjudged by college basketball scribes after leading the Blue Eagles to their second consecutive UAAP title, as he joined the likes of his brother Kiefer, Mac Belo, Jeron Teng, Robert Bolick, and Ben Mbala in the list of awards.

Ravena averaged 29.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 7.5 assists in the finals.
Also to be awarded are Tab Baldwin of Ateneo as UAAP Coach of the Year and Boyet Fernandez of San Beda as NCAA Coach of the Year.

Ravena is also part of the All-Collegiate Team that also has Robert Bolick of San Beda, Prince Eze of Perpetual Help, Bright Akhuetie of University of the Philippines and Paul Desiderio of University of the Philippines.
