Make no mistake this time.

The San Juan Knights made a quick and light work of Bacolod, tearing them apart for a 95-71 rout to stand alone on top of the MPBL Northern Division mountain Wednesday evening at the Olivarez College Gym in Paranaque City.

Proving that last Thursday's beatdown of Rizal is no fluke, the defending National Champions banked on their solid first half to maul the Masters in a one-sided affair, with the newcomers never given a taste of the lead for the entire game.

Displaying their depth, everyone were given a shot by coach Randy Alcantara, with all except Cedric Pelayo scored in the contest.

John Wilson led all scorers with 22 points on a 43% clip from the field, with Jhonard Clarito getting player of the game honors by flirting with a triple double.

The forward filled his line with 16 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists, 4 steals and 4 blocks in almost 29 minutes of action.

A 7-0 run in the first enabled San Juan to pull away in the first quarter, turning a close two-point contest into a nine-point lead.

The Knights even threatened to pull away in the second, establishing leads by as much as 18 before settling for a dozen at the break, in which they saw it reduced to just eight before the final period as Bacolod unleashed an 9-0 outburst.

However, San Juan had enough of it in the final frame, as they limited Bacolod to just 13 points there to punctuate their fourth straight win.

SAN JUAN 95 -- Wilson 22, Clarito 16, Aquino 9, Cardona 8, Ayonayon 8, Rodriguez, 6, Wamar 6, Ubalde 4, Estrella 3, Tajonera 3, Saitanan 3, Reyes 3, Isit 2, Salvado 2, Pelayo 0
