In what was their first visit at the Cuneta Astrodome for two decades, the San Juan Knights made an easy work of the Cebu Sharks, sinking them with an 88-69 beatdown to extend their winning start in the MPBL Lakan Season to ten games on the trot Monday evening.

The defending National Champions lead in all but 1:05 of the game with four Knights in double figures, as John Wilson led them for the third game in a row with 23 points on a 42% shooting from the field for mentor Randy Alcantara.

Captain Hook Mac Cardona led San Juan's bench mob as he had 16 points in 21 minutes of action, with Jhonard Clarito posted a double-double of 10 points and 11 rebounds, as the Knights clamped down on Sharks' shooter Patrick Cabahug, who had an off-night with just two points to his name.

The Knights had dominated the boards, 48-43 while their teamwork is on display as they dished out 28 assists, 12 more than Cebu as they forced them to commit 19 turnovers and conveted it to 18 points off it.

A crippling 13-0 run from the end of the first quarter to the begining of the second did the trick for the champs to pull away from the Sharks, making it 31-19 on an Ayonayon triple before settling to an 8-point cushion at the break.

Second half was just a mere cakewalk for San Juan as they never gave Cebu a tasted 20-point quarters the rest of the way, with Cardona fired a long bomb to hike their lead to the biggest at 21 in garbage time.

Edrian Lao had 14 for the Sharks who fell to 4-6.
