The Road to the Finals of the #PinoyligaCup Inter Alumni Above 40 Division - B is set with the remaining 8 teams set to do battle starting this Saturday! Lets take a look at the match ups!

BRACKET A

(1) Aquinas - Exile vs. (4) Don Bosco - Exile

This might probably be a good semi-finals match up, if not, a finals match up! The defending champs, Don Bosco-Exile, is still loaded with firepower as they retain old reliables Ernest Medina, Nath Salvo, Rico Fermo and Reuben Garcia to lean on. The come backing Glenn Noveros is also on board as he looks to patrol the middle with his hulking presence. But the key piece to the success of Don Bosco will rely heavily on the play of scoring machine Caloy Sario.

Sario is the leading MVP Candidate, leading the league in scoring with 35.2 ppg and an off the charts PER of 38.64.

Aquinas will be favored on this match up as the duo of Laurence Rivera and Mar Reyes continue to dominate the opposition. A well oiled line up that complements the two might just as well be enough for the Joey Valencia supported team as the heavy rotation of serviceable guards is on stand by.

(2) San Beda Vittos vs. (3) San Beda Exbat

Pre-season favourites San Beda Vittos look to march all the way to the Finals with a line up that boasts of last seasons Mythical 5 members Shin Dela Cruz and Mike Capistrano. New additions Chia Manalo and Michael Pe Benito has been vital to the campaign of this squad as primary wing options in terms of scoring and defending.

Dela Cruz and Capistrano can account for half on the output of this team.

Exbat has steadily improved compared to their last outing. Alain Carlos and Louie Castro brings in a formidable back court that can score and pass in their run and gun style. The addition of big men like Leo Mampusti has taken them this deep into the playoffs as it has provided them some muscle inside which they sorely missed last season.

BRACKET B

(1) USLS Stingers vs. (4) San Beda Alabang

A resurgence in performance is what USLS has shown this conference. Key additions that shored up their front court has surely helped the Stingers earn that top seeding in Bracket B. Jun Borja, jordan Young and Noel Cristal has contributed to the success of the team as its has led to a more fluid and Spurs like play. Old reliables Jake Legarde, Wix Talam, Tata Deles and Beejay Javelona has hit their strides as well.

San Beda Alabang, on the other hand, has found its second win towards the tail end of the tournament. With wins over Xavier in the preliminaries and a shot in the arm win over St. John in the wildcard phase, the Alabang Boys may be poised for an upset. Big men Pat Garcia and Dino Javier will be important as they will be matched up with the experienced bigs of USLS. Gunners Christian Laqui, Anthony Roman and TJ Ingles will be at the forefront of the offensive attack.

(2) V. Mapa vs. (3) Adamson

Adamson has been built with 2 gunners and a slew of bulky bigs to bang bodies with the opposition. Datdat Espinosa and Monching Cudilla, both members of last Conferences Mythical Five team will again go in guns blazing. Espinosa, in particular, was in Kobe mode, banging in 37 points in their wild card game against Pamantasang Lungsod ng Maynila.

V. Mapa will rely heavily on their vaunted team game, inside - outside that has been evident in every league they enter into. Expect this game to go either way, being decided during crunchtime.
