Pinoyliga, the country's pioneer in digital web stats is on the road once again, this time to Aurora where the Angara Basketball Cup is set to have a modern treatment.
It was no less than Pinoyliga president and Founder Benny Benitez who went to Aliya Surf Camp in Baler personally alongside Tech Support head Joven Barruga to make the 2019 edition more hyped and more modern than ever.
With this year's edition headed by Aliya Surf Camp owner Roy Angara, the games tip off on August 11 at the Centro Baler Sports Complex.
The participating teams will get the chance to battle not just for the title, but also the top prize of one-hundred thousand pesos to the league champion which will be known two weeks later.
Apart from the games, the 2019 Angara Basketball Cup will have a half-court contest for every half-time of the game, as well as All Star festivities on August 19 wherein a three-point shootout and the slam dunk contest is on the pipeline.
However, the biggest improvement will be the newly-minted partnership with Pinoyliga, where teams and players can check their stats right after the games.
For the basketball junkies in Aurora, now it's your chance to see the best basketball in your province!
