The Nuggets were up 20 points in the fourth quarter. They looked like a team that was looking to avoid going down 0-3 in a best-of-seven series against the top team in the West. And they did despite almost blowing that big lead.
Jamal Murray came out in the final stretch, hitting big threes to lead the Denver Nuggets to a 114-106 Game Three victory over the Los Angeles Lakers in the National Basketball Association (NBA) Western Conference Finals Murray finished with 28 points, 12 assists, eight rebounds, and two steals. Jerami Grant added 26 points while shooting 10 for 12 from the free-throw line. Nikola Jokic had 22 points and 10 rebounds. Monte Morris finished with 14 points off the bench for Denver who shot 54% from, the field and 79% from the free-throw line. The Nuggets also outrebounded the Lakers, 44-25.
LeBron James led the Lakers with 30 points, 11 assists, and 10 rebounds. Anthony Davis added 27 points but only had TWO REBOUNDS in 43 minutes. Kentavious Cardwell-Pope had 12 points while Kyle Kuzma added 11 points off the bench. Rajon Rondo had nine points, eight assists, and three steals. The Lakers shot six for 26 from the three-point line
