MANDALUYONG -- Exile bagged the Pinoyliga Corporate Cup with relative ease Saturday evening at the Gatorade Hoops Center, capping off their sweep with a 90-68 beatdown of House of Hoops.
Thanks to their deep rotation, Exile's lethal combination of hot shooting and lockdown defense gave them the title after notching their seventh and final win on the trot.
Jordan Arcusa lead the champions with 13 points bagging the Finals MVP award in the process. Luis Palaganas filled his stat line with 10 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals and a block, for a PER of 20.53 and bagging 44 statistical points in the process.
The game was practically wrapped up in the first ten minutes, as Exile made mincemeat of the undermanned HOH side by limiting them to just eight points, with Arcusa outscoring their opponents all by himself by scoring eleven, including three rainbow shots to set them on their way.
Exile then led by as much as 27 in the final frame to formally etch their name into the Pinoyliga Cup, succceeding PAL Flight Deck as the Corporate champions.
Chayser Morales paced House of Hoops with 16 points, who were exhausted after their thrilling semifinal win over Hyper J last June 11.
