After the expansion of the 40 and Up division in its Alumni division for the next season's Pinoyliga Cup, the Corporate division would not left to be lagging behind as it introduces not one, but two divisions ahead of their tip off on August 10.

The two divisions, mainly the Lite and the Elite are meant to give separate emphasis on not just the recreational cagers, but also to the serious players who always define the mantra of "Ball Is Life"

Already a huge name in various leagues across the Metro, CW Home Depot headlines the newly formed Corporate Lite division, who had six teams signing up.

Led by the guard King Go and big man Johndel Joves, CW Home are the favorites to take the title, but teams like Rizal Boys, Affordaink and Chateau Ridiculous are also keen to create huge noise.

But also, do not count out Black&White Engineering and Customs as they are hope to spring up some upsets in the Corporate Lite division.

For the more serious side of Corporate basketball, the Elite division has seven teams on the field, none bigger than the past two champions in Exile and PAL Flight Deck.

After skipping the last season in which Exile swept its way to the crown, the Pilots of the flag carrier returns to the Pinoyliga Cup as their match-up is surely a must watch.

Last season's semifinalists Main Models and Digiweave (Pinoyliga's parent firm) are also in the mix, as well as PAL's Flight Attendant squad with Greenfield Marketers and KPMG round up the cast.

The new season of the Pinoyliga Cup will continue to get the digital stats treatment where everyone can check on the stats of the game online.

See you then at the Gatorade Hoops Center on August 10 for the new season of the Pinoyliga Corporate Cup!
