PINOY LIGA CUP CORPORATE DIVISION DEBUTS WITH A BANG

The Pinoyliga Cup Corporate Division got underway last Tuesday, April 2, with the Main Models coming out triumphant over Digiweave, 61 to 50, at the Gatorade Hoops Center in Mandaluyong. Headed by TV and movie personality , JC De Vera, the Main Models were true to form as on of the favourites to win the tournament.

This weekday tournament aims to put together weekday basketball warriors of the corporate jungle. Pinoyliga Founder, Benny Benitez explains; " We are encouraging the casual, recreational basketball players of different companies to join our league and prove that they still have the competitive fire thats also needed in their own corporate organisations" . He further explained that apart from bringing that competitive fire, this tournament also promotes camaraderie among peers and serves as a good avenue for business networking..
