Petron-Letran caps elims campaign in PBA D-League with rout of Batangas-EAC

Petron-Letran capped its 2019 PBA D-League elimination round assignment with a lopsided 115-73 win over Batangas-EAC last May 9 at Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig.

Alvin Pasaol contributed 29 points, 11 rebounds, and 5 assists as he led the Knights to post a 32-14 advantage in the contest.

Jerrick Balanza chipped in 20 points, 8 assists, 7 rebounds, 5 steals, and 2 blocks, while Jeo Ambohot had 17 points and 9 rebounds as Petron-Letran ended the eliminations with a 6-3 card.

The Knights still have a chance to make it to the top four but will wait for the results of the matches of Go For Gold-CSB and Che’Lu Bar and Grill.

“Hindi na namin hawak yung status namin. Binibigay naman namin parati ang best effort namin. May games lang talaga na kailangan naming mag-invest,” said Petron-Letran coach Bonnie Tan.

Kyle Carlos topped the lowly Generals with 24 points to exit with a 2-7 record.
