PBA D-League: Hot start lifts Che Lu to runaway win over AMA

Che’Lu Bar and Grill trounced AMA Online Education, 115-77, last May 9 in the 2019 PBA D-League at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig.

The Revellers improved their record to 5-3 in the Aspirants Group, while also eliminating the Titans, who dropped to 2-5.

Che’Lu scored 10 straight points to start the game and never looked back as the Revellers led by as many as 44 points.

Stephen Siruma had 13 points and 5 assists, as JayR Taganas had 12 points and 10 rebounds for Che’Lu. Rey Suerte, Mark Bringas, and Jhaps Bautista totaled 11 points each.

"Yun din ang gusto namin sa team, fighting team. Hindi man kami kasing beterano nung last season, we still need our players to play their role," said Che’Lu coach Stevenson Tiu.

Joshua Munzon paced the Titans in the losing effort with 26 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 assists.
