Blackwater and TNT pulled off victories last June 2 to get back to their winning ways in the PBA Commissioner’s Cup at the Ynares Center.

The Elite beat Rain or Shine, 98-82, to win their fourth game in five outings, while the KaTropa defeated Phoenix Pulse, 114-88, to get their third win in four games.

Allein Maliksi had 19 points, and Bobby Ray Parks Jr. contributed 16 points as Blackwater recovered from its first loss to Phoenix Pulse.

Meanwhile, Terrence Jones was once again in his scoring ways as he collected 40 points in game that was marred by ejections.

Calvin Abueva was tossed in the fourth quarter of the game after hitting a clothesline on Jones during a chase for the ball.

Phoenix Pulse coach Louie Alas was also ejected after pushing David Semerad during a fracas early in the first quarter. Semerad and his twin brother Anthony as well as Jason Perkins of Phoenix Pulse were also sent off.

TNT consultant Mark Dickel was also thrown out for having two technical fouls for complaining.
