No mercy my brother! Centric IT Team A demolishes team B, 69-30

Even though playing against their brothers, Centric IT Group Team A showed that they are the ‘kuya’’ and opened up their Kings of the Court STR8 | Corporate Recreational division campaign with a win after dismantling their little bro Team B at the Upperdeck gym in Ortigas, 69-30. 

It was rainbows and butterflies for the winning team from the start as they finished the first quarter with a 24-5 edge, and at that point, the game has already been decided.

Team A limited their opponent for only two field goal made, first was at the 8:05 mark courtesy of Desi Bariuan layup coming off a steal, and a triple at the buzzer by Carlo Colegio. 

Team A’s Jay Delima led all scorers with 20 points, Dainel Dizon added 16 points and nine rebounds, and Les Razon chipped in 11 and 14, 10 of those were offensive boards.

Joseph Hermo bagged the player of the game honors with an all around output with 10 markers, 14 board, seven assist, and four steals. 

On the other hand, Team B looked for someone to lift the scoring load as no one reached double figures for them. 

Though, they found a bright spot with Joearch Bienvinido and Rolan Peñaflor, they both have six points, the former had seven rebounds and the latter got five.

It was a better second period for team B as they scored eight points as a team, still they couldn't stop Team A’s offense and given up 13 points, and finish the quarter with a score, 37-13.

Team A continue their dominance in the third period as they move the ball well and playing more active defensively, entering to the final quarter up by 25, 47-22. 

Even with a large lead, Team A’s defensive scheme are still tight, pounding the ball whenever they got a chance, and increased their margin to 31, 61-30 and never look back.
