NBL: Imus deals Iriga City its first defeat

Imus dealt Iriga City its first loss after a 99-96 overtime victory last May 20 in the National Basketball League (NBL) Season 2 at the Dominican College Gym in Sta. Rosa, Laguna.

Kim Cinco had 26 points including five three-point baskets, and Jepoy Sarao had 23 points and 14 rebounds for the Bandila.

The Bandila improved their record to 3-2, as the Oragons slumped to their first loss after a 4-0 start to the season.

Lerry Jhon Mayo had 21 points and scored the game-winner with 8.7 seconds left in the game as the Taguig Generals defeated the Laguna Pistons, 94-93, for a 3-1 win-loss slate.

In games at the Philippine Christian University gym in Dasmariñas, Cavite, JP Rabe had 23 points and 14 rebounds as the Dasmariñas Ballers nipped the Nueva Ecija Rice Makers in overtime, 95-94, to even their record to 2-2.

Jeff Comia had 22 points and 10 rebounds as the Quezon City Rising Stars increased their win total to three after seven games after defeating the Zamboanga Valientes, 94-82.
