#Masters2019: Ujana Kingfiser takes third in 55 and above after surviving late thriller from Guam

QUEZON CITY -- Ujana Kingfisher salvaged third place in the 55 and above division of the 2019 Masters Invitational Basketball Tournament after surviving a 72-69 thriller against Guam Masters Friday evening at the PNP Gym.

The Malaysian side bucked an early first-quarter deficit to defeat the island side to take the bronze, thanks to Bong Tan's all around game that he lead the team in all the stats.

Tan was just two rebounds shy of a double-double after a 22-point performance, and padded his line with 2 assists and 3 steals as Achit Kaw adding 21 for Ujana.

Med Sultan led Guam with 22 markers, but came out short to force overtime.
