QUEZON CITY -- PNP Naredo swept aside the 55-and-above division of the 2019 Masters Invitational Basketball Tournament, taking home the title after easing out E-Hotel Team Pilipinas with a 97-75 rout Friday evening at the PNP Gym.
A wire-to-wire domination saw PNP-Naredo won all four games to clinch the championship, leading the entire way to punctuate a dominating performance.
San Miguel head coach Leo Austria paced PNP-Naredo with a double-double of 13 points and 10 assist to backstop their co-leading scorers in Danny Retreta and MVP Sonny Phillipps, who fired in 16 points apiece.
Henry Ogaco had 21 for E-Hotel who wound up as deserved runners up.
