LOOK: Final 12 of Gilas Pilipinas in the 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup

The line-up of Gilas Pilipinas in the 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup have been released.

After a thorough study by the coaching staff led by head coach Yeng Guiao, Gilas Pilipinas came up with a final 12 with naturalized player Andray Blatche leading the cast as he is about to play his second straight World Cup appearance.

Also joining Blatche in the line-up are 5-time PBA MVP June Mar Fajardo, Japeth Aguilar, Raymond Almazan, Mark Barroca, Paul Lee, Gabe Norwood, RR Pogoy, and Troy Rosario.

Kiefer Ravena also made it to the final 12 and he made the roster after being suspended by FIBA for 18 months, as two PBA rookies in CJ Perez and Robert Bolick also got the nod to play for Gilas Pilipinas in the final 12.

Gilas will start its campaign in the World Cup on August 31 against Italy. They will next face Serbia on September 2 followed by Angola on September 4 in hopes of advancing into the Final 16.
