#LGRHoops: Coast Guard sweeps Corporate after mauling Mob Chat

Philppine Coast Guard joined BDO in an elite company of unbeaten champions in the Corporate division, after dispatching Mob Chat with ease 90-64, last June 22 at the FilOil FlyingV Centre in San Juan.

In a nearly one-sided game, the defender of the seas went on a smooth sailing to notch the eighth and final win of their campaign to join the Horacio Lim-led team as the unbeaten Champions in their division.

Despite landing the big shots, PCG saw their 20-point buffer that was made in the first half cut by nine early in the fourth, but they restored their humongous lead with an 11-0 run to put the title away.

Seaman 1st Class Jerby Deriada pulled a double-double of 17 points and 16 rebounds as he bullied his way through with 53.5 statistical points in just 28 minutes of action to claim the Finals MVP honors.

Mark Almonte led Mob Chat with a double-double of 17 points and 14 rebounds as their Cinderella campaign struck at midnight.
