#LabanPilipinas: Rewards on the table as Mascarinas reaffirm support for Gilas Women 3x3 in the SEA Games

Right after the Gilas Pilipinas Women's 3x3 Team scored a 3-0 sweep on the opening day of the 2019 Southeast Asian Games 3x3 women's tournament Sunday, an incentive is in the offing for the team as a gesture of support.

Chooks-to-Go main man Ronald Mascariñas called up Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) Executive Director Sonny Barrios to extend his congratulations on the  accomplishment so far of our Women's Team,  who are playing Vietnam and Thailand, as of this writing in the final day of the competition in San Juan. 

An undisclosed amount will given to the team for a podium finish, which would go higher should they sweep all the way to the gold

"This will be the first-time in our country's history that our women's squad will bring home a title in the SEA Games," said Mascariñas. "It should be worth celebrating."
Unknown to some basketball fans, Chooks-to-Go is helping the Filipinas in its Olympic quest in Tokyo, showcasing Pilipinas 3x3 by adding the Women's Division in the recently concluded CTG sponsored MelMac Cup.

Helping the  popular roasted chicken brand were Gilas Women's regular partners in SM and Ever Bilena, who will also support the team as they move forward with their lofty goals for the sport.
