La Salle Green Hills Secure Hard-Fought Win Over Mapua in NCAA Season 102 Juniors' Basketball

The Greenies showcased their toughness after securing a 75-70 victory against the Mapua Red Robins in the NCAA Season 102 Juniors' division held at the Playtime FilOil EcoOil Centre.

Joseph Calo-oy led the charge for the Greenies with another phenomenal 25-point performance, adding 4 rebounds, 1 assist, and 5 steals. Following the game, Calo-oy shared his thoughts on the hard-earned victory

"Masaya po ako kasi po si Esomchi 15 years old pa lang po yan pero galing na po maglaro... pano pa kaya pag nag-ano na yan 18 years old? Hindi na natin mastop yan."

He also expressed gratitude for the team's relentless effort, adding: "Sobrang proud ako sa mga teammates ko kasi syempre nag-start kami sa practice... isa-isa naming ginawa yung best namin."

Although Mapua fought hard behind Christian Parame’s 13 points, 14 rebounds and Yves Pena’s 12 points, 9 rebounds, the Greenies' defense and crucial plays down the stretch sealed the win.

Driven by their teamwork and perseverance, Greenies look to build more momentum as the tournament progresses this season.
