June Mar Fajardo wins sixth straight PBA Philippine Cup Best Player of the Conference

June Mar Fajardo was named as the Best Player of the Conference for the sixth time in the PBA Philippine Cup. The award was given before Game 4 of the PBA Philippine Cup finals where San Miguel later won.

Fajardo won the award after getting 1,165 points from the statistical points, media votes, player votes, and PBA votes to beat Sean Anthony of NorthPort, RR Pogoy of TNT, Stanley Pringle of NorthPort, and Mo Tautuaa of NorthPort.

Anthony came in second with 641 points, followed by Pogoy with 522. Pringle and Tautuaa had 473 and 380 each.

“Thankful ako na nakuha ko ang BPC pero hindi naman yun ang goal ko. Pero sobrang blessed ko. Credit sa management, coaches, at teammates kasi hindi ko makukuha yun kung hindi dahil sa kanila,” said Fajardo.

Fajardo has now won eight BPC crowns in his PBA career.
