JRU, LSBC, DUMLAO, RONAC JUMPSTART KOTC | STR8 Q2 INTER-PICK UP DIVISION WITH WINS

The Inter-Pick Up Category of the 2019 Kings of the Court | STR8 Season Q2 kickstarted last Sunday in two different venues with four squads picking up maiden victories.

Peter Eranod came up big to lead JRU past Workwear, 79-62 in the opener at The Upper Deck. Eranod finished with 16 points and 14 rebounds. Johann Param paced Workwear with 20 points.

Geno Anderson had an all-around outing of 13 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists, and 5 steals to carry his LSBC-Brotherhood to a close 77-70 win over Don Bosco. Brandon Espiras added 19 markers.

Tier One Born Ready picked up a close win over Aftershock Ronac Saturdays, 57-54. DJ Cuasay had an all-around display of 10 points, 11 boards, 7 assists, 5 steals, and 3 blocks, propelling his squad to victory.

Dumlao Thursdays completed the results, wounding up the Inter-Pick Up Division with a 68-66 nipping of Team Elivon in the lone game at the Dumlao Gym.

Ronaldo Galon was the high-point man with 18 points and 12 boards while Issei Sugiyama contributed 14 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists, and 5 steals.

The Inter-Pick Up Division is just one of three divisions which opened play last Sunday, including the Corporate Intermediate and Corporate Recreational groups.
