#JonesCup2019: Gilas Women wraps up debut tilt winless after falling to Taipei's second team

Gilas Pilipinas Women wrap up their campaign in the 2019 William Jones Cup winless after being sent down by the second team of host nation, Chinese Taipei 92-83 in their final assignment Sunday evening at the Xinzhuang Gym in New Taipei City.

Patrick Aquino's ladies only shot 39% from the field, including 2/15 from beyond the arc to finish their debut campaign there winless, as they lost all of their five games to finish at the bottom of the six-team field, with Japan's Mitsubishi Electric won the title by winning all five of their games.

Afril Bernardino clocked in a game-high double-double of 24 points and 14 rebounds for Gilas Women, in which their loss was virtually sealed at the end of the first when they trailed by thirteen.

Wei-An Chen led CTII with 20 markers.
