Gilas Youth arrives in Manila after FIBA Under-19 World Cup campaign

Gilas Pilipinas Youth has arrived in Manila last Tuesday following their campaign in the FIBA Under-19 Basketball World Cup.

The Philippine team was welcomed at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport by Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas officials after their long flight from Heraklion, Greece where they saw action in the FIBA Under-19 tournament.

Aside from the SBP officials, the Gilas Pilipinas Youth team led by Kai Sotto was welcomed by hundreds of fans who were at the airport to also greet the team

Gilas Youth was coming off a 14th place finish in the FIBA Under-19 Basketball World Cup. But despite the finish, Gilas Youth was still able to put on a respectable finish in a campaign that also saw them beat Asian neighbors China.
