The career of Gilas Women center Jack Danielle Animam gets a higher notch, as she is set to go to Taiwan for her overseas debut.

Armed with a solid credentials with her dominance under the paint for National University, the former UAAP MVP and five-time champion is taking her talents to Shih Hsun University in the University Basketball Association on a one-and-done setup, marking a new chapter in her playing career that saw her reach the pinnacle of it all in 2019.

That included a sixth consecutive golden sweep with the Lady Bulldogs as they reset the record for the longest winning streak, and capped off with a Ms. Basketball award from the Philippine Sportswriters' Association after leading Gilas to its maiden triumph in the Southeast Asian Games in both the 3x3 and the full game.

Coach Patrick Aquino was nothing but smiles at his latest talent to take their game outside of the country, as she follows her teammates like Gemma Miranda and Afril Bernardino who already had an international experience with them.

His tip: never forget her playing roots.

"Sabi ko always listen to the coach learn to play and get along with her new teammates," he said.

She will be the latest college sensation to join the ranks of playing outside of the country, after Ateneo's Thirdy Ravena and FEU's Ken Tuffin had already been tapped to play in Japan and New Zealand, respectively.
