Gilas Pilipinas edges Ivory Coast for second tune-up game win in Spain

Gilas Pilipinas Men got its second win in their series of tune-up games in Spain as they defeated Ivory Coast, 94-83, last Thursday.

Andray Blatche once again led the team in scoring as he had 18 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 steals in a good follow-up to their win against Congo last Wednesday.

Paul Lee, Japeth Aguilar, and CJ Perez also gave a good account of themselves in the match in another impressive showing by the Gilas Pilipinas team.

Lee connected with 16 points, and Aguilar tallied 12 points for Gilas Pilipinas. Perez, one of the rookies in the team, made 11 markers.

The team now goes to Malaga for a pocket tournament.
