#FilOil2019: Zobel stuns reeling Mapua to get their first win in Juniors

SAN JUAN -- De La Salle-Zobel produced another shock in Group A of the Juniors Division, routing Mapua-Malayan 90-69 to cap off the three-game billing, Thursday afternoon at the FilOil FlyingV Centre.

Four days after losing to Lyceum in their opener, the Junior Archers bounced back with a huge win, sending the wingless Red Robins crashing down with efficient shooting and quick transition offense.

Zobel zoomed past their sluggish victims fo their fist win, as they hit almost half of their shots while scoring 26 fastbreak points as against Mapua's 31% field goal shooting and 13 points off the counter.

Kean Baclaan, Jac Macasaet and Kobe Dalisay each had 19 points, with the starting guard completing a triple double with 11 rebounds and 10 assists for the UAAP side.

Jonnel Policarpio had a double-double of 16 points and 13 rebounds for the defending NCAA champions, who exits the tournament at 1-4.
