SAN JUAN -- San Beda just returned from their overseas camp to keep their clearn record in the FilOil FlyingV Preseason Cup, after downing CEU, 80-58 in the last game of the day before the All Star festivities last May 31 at the FilOil FlyingV Centre.

Fresh from their training camp in Las Vegas, the Red Lions won their third game on the trot to lead Group A, showing their full strength against the Scorpions who were having their worst two-week stretch.

After a close first quarter, San Beda pulled away in middle periods to take the game away from their neighbors in Mendiola.

Donald Tankoua only missed one shot from the field to lead all scorers with 16 points to go along with 4 rebounds and a steal as the Red Lions unleashed their full strength by having 18 of them played at least three minutes.

Jerome Santos' 14 markers and Maodo Malick Diouf's double-double of 10 points and 11 rebounds were not enough to prevent CEU free-falling to 2-3.
