#FilOil2019: San Beda pulls away late to dispatch Lyceum to remain unbeaten

SAN JUAN -- San Beda used a furious fourth quarter to deal Lyceum its first loss in the Juniors Division, 82-68,  to remain unbeaten in Group A at the FilOil FlyingV Preseason Cup Thursday afternoon at the FilOil FlyingV Centre.

The Red Cubs and the Junior Pirates went toe-to-toe in the first 31 minutes before the former pulled away to coast to their third win in as many games, in a battle between two sides who came to the floor with identical 2-0 cards.

Josiah Alcantara led San Beda with 19 points on an 8/12 shooting from the field to go along with 2 rebounds.

For LPU, Jearolan Omandac also had 19 and John Barba picked up another double-double of 18 points and 12 rebounds in a losing effort.
