SAN JUAN -- Reigning NCAA Champions San Beda got their second consecutive win in the FilOil Flying V Preseason Cup Friday afternoon, after easily took care of business against an undermanned Mapua with an 80-63 beatdown.
No one from the Red Lions logged in 18 minutes or more in their one-sided beatdown, with Arnaud Noah took care of the scoring cudgels with efficient ease, firing for 17 points in as many minutes to go 2-0 in Group A.
Boyet Fernandez hardly broke a sweat as they already finished off the Cardinals in the first 20 minutes, leading by as much as 24 at the break.
With Warren Bonifacio and Justin Serrano suspended after their part in the fracas in their opener against CEU, Christian Buñag led the ten men of Mapua with 14 points as they were sent down further down the bottom of the group after their second straight defeat.
