#FilOil2019: Perpetual punch playoff berth after subduing debuting UST

SAN JUAN -- Perpetual Help rode through their bench mob to punch their ticket to the FilOil Flying V Preseason Cup playoffs after subduing debuting UST, 90-82 to open the three-game bill in the high school division.

The Junior Altas only had 24 points from their starters as Emman Galman led the supersubs to their fourth straight win, guaranteeing them a place in the Juniors divsion semifinals, but they will have to wait until June 3 to play out their final game in Group B against NU-Nazareth.

Galman led all scorers with 23 points in 25 mintues of action including six three-ponters, to go along with 3 rebounds, 2 assists and 3 steals

Edzel Galoy backstopped the sweet-shooting guard with 17 points and 6 rebounds to repulse the Tiger Cubs who were just debuting in this year's edition.

Jethro Escoto paced UST with 18 points, with Bismark Lina clocking in a double-double of 14 points and 13 rebounds.
