#FilOil2019: NU go 3-0 after edging past FEU

SAN JUAN -- NU inched closer to the juniors' division semifinals of the FilOil FlyingV Preseason Cup after getting the better of FEU, 79-70 Monday morning at the FilOil FlyingV Centre.

The defending UAAP champions pulled away late in the fourth in a close game  that saw them on level terms after the first three periods, notching their third straight win to remain unbeaten in Group B and eliminate the Baby Tamaraws from contention.

Gerry Abadiano led the Bullpups with 20 points despite only hitting 5/13 from the field, with Kevin Quiambao pitching in a double-double of 12 points and 12 rebounds.

Cholo Añonuevo had 12 for the 2-2 FEU.
