#FilOil2019: FEU caps off Jrs. campaign with a shutout of JRU

SAN JUAN -- FEU wrapped up their stint in the Juniors division of the FilOil FlyingV Preseason Cup after denying JRU the win for the last time with an 89-73 decision on the final day of May at the FilOil FlyingV Centre.

The Baby Tamaraws were just too good for the Light Bombers despite having just 10 players in uniform, capping off their Group B campaign at 3-2.

FEU's tight defense have forced JRU to misfire, with the NCAA side only shot 22/80 from the field and were limited to just 25 first-half points.

Kyle Bautista had 16 points for the Baby Tams, with Vince Saldua and Patrick Sleat leading their bench mob with 15 and 14 respectively.

Janwell Famarangco had 24 for JRU who wound up their stint by losing all of their five assignments.
