#FilOil2019: EAC bows out with a stunning win over Benilde

SAN JUAN -- Emilio Aguinaldo College capped off its FilOil FlyingV Preseason Cup campaign with a 78-69 win over St. Benilde Monday afternoon at the FilOil FlyingV Centre.

Already eliminated after four straight losses, the Generals made sure that they bow out of the tournament on a high note, taking down the Blazers in an all-NCAA game.

EAC were trailing early in the opening frame before they went on a tear the rest of the way, with Chester Carlos hitting two triples down the stretch to finish their stint with a 2-5 record.

Carlos had 8 points for the Generals. JP Maguliano led the charge with 20 while Marwin Taywan pitched in 14 off the bench.

Justin Gutang paced CSB with a double-double of 22 points and 10 rebounds but the Blazers flamed out in the end to fall to 1-3.
