Bonnie Tan could not be more than glad that Letran had the resolve after his Knights go 2-0 to start their campaign in the FilOil Flying V Preseason Cup.
Minutes after their 75-70 win over FEU to share the Group B lead with fellow NCAA outfit Lyceum, Tan reveled on their resiliency as they played their second straight game undermanned.
"It's about our mindset," said the former mentor of the Pirates.
He then added that he is glad to have inherited a squad already cohesive and full of talent.
Fortunately for him, Letran responded well when Jerrick Balanza have to leave the game in the second quarter, as Larry Muyang and co. ok the cudgels in taking down the Tams.
