#FilOil2019: Benilde thumps JRU for first win in Seniors

SAN JUAN -- Third time's finally the charm for College of St. Benilde, as they get their first win of the 13th FilOil FlyingV Preseason Cup after thumping JRU, 79-56 in Group B play Friday afternoon at the FilOil Flying V Centre.

Ty Tang's Blazers disconnected the Heavy Bombers' fuses in a wire-to-wire win, limiting them to just four points in the opening quarter, shooting an astronomical 53% from the field.

Yankie Haruna was the lone CSB player in double digits, leading all scorers with 19 points on a 70% shooting from the field, including a pair of rainbow shots

For JRU, MJ Dela Virgen and Marwin Dionisio each scored 11 as the win still eludes Louie Gonzalez.
