#FilOil2019: Adamson wax hot to nail third place at Lyceum's expense

San Juan -- Adamson showed no mercy at undermanned Lyceum, as its full strength Falcons unleashed its dominating shooting display for a 96-63 rout to salvage third place at the FilOil FlyingV Preseason Cup Sunday afternoon at the FilOil FlyingV Centre.

Jerrick Ahanmisi let it rain from beyond the arc as he hit 8/13 to lead all scorers with 31 points for Adamson, who lead by as much as 43, 88-45 with 5:41 left in the game on a triple by Andre Albason.

Ahanmisi's hot hands was just part of the Falcons' 52% clip from the field, including making half of their 26 shots from beyond the arc in a dominating display of accuracy.

With the Pirates giving resting orders to the big three of Mike Harry Nzeusseu and the Marcelino twins, Rhanzelle Yong took the scoring cudgels as he hit a team-high 20 for the two-time NCAA finalists, who missed out on the podium for just the second consecutive year.
