June Mar Fajardo had a performance to remember in Game 4 as he finished with 31 points and 14 rebounds in San Miguel’s 114-98 victory against Magnolia in the PBA Philippine Cup finals at the Araneta Coliseum.

Fajardo dominated the paint, making 13 of his 14 field goal attempts. He was almost perfect from the free throw line as well after going 5 out of 6 from the charity stripe.

With Fajardo’s performance, the four-time PBA Philippine Cup champions have now tied the series at two games apiece.

“Maybe it’s because we were able to solve the problem we’ve got in the third game. Tonight, because of the patience of the players, trying to set up the play, they don’t have time to double. Tonight, we’ve kept on moving not only the ball but the players,” assessed San Miguel coach Leo Austria.

Terrence Romeo also showed his brilliance after scoring 18 points as the series now heads into Game 5 which will be played on May 10 at the Araneta Coliseum.
