Exile, House of Hoops tangle for Corporate Cup

Unbeaten Exile and House of Hoops tangle for the Pinoyliga Corporate Cup Saturday night at the Gatorade Hoops Center, after coming from contrasting wins in the semifinals.

Revenge is on the minds for the overachieving HoH, who lost to Exile by a whopping 46 points in their first meeting last May 21, wherein Jay-R Patricio posted an 11-11 game to supplant Arcusa's 20-point outburst.

Set at 8PM tonight, Exile will be leaned on by the trio of Jay Arcusa, Peejay Fernandez and Mar Reyes after they easily dispatched Main Models 92-69 last June 19.

Exile shot 11/28 from downtown with Arcusa hitting 5 of those to lead them with 17 points, while POG Fernandez filled up his line with 14 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals, with Reyes hitting 6/9 from the field for 15 markers in just 22 minutes of action.

Meanwhile House of Hoops came from the backdoor in the third to pip HyperJ in a nailbiting 68-67 win last June 11, with Efjhun Data backed up his 14 points with a game-high 7 steals, making up half of their production.

Benj Devilleres backed Data up with his 17 points with 5/11 hit from downtown.
