Enderun Titans too much for Perpetual Altas

The Enderun College Titans scored their second straight win after defeating the Perpetual Altas, 63-48 in the Pinoyliga Cup Collegiate Division, Saturday morning. 

The Titans banked on the heroics of AJ Fransman who filled up the stat sheet and finished with 14 points, 9 rebounds, 1 assist, 3 blocks and 4 steals.

The Titans controlled the game from the start thanks to their suffocating defense which allowed them to have 6 steals in the first quarter alone. They led 17-10 at the end of the first quarter. 

Enderun continued their aggressive defense in the second quarter. The Titans outrebounded the Altas in the quarter, 12-8, en route to a 30-21 halftime lead. 

The lead grew bigger in the third quarter thanks to the Titans’ outside sniping. The Titans converted 4 three point shots which helped them gain a more comfortable lead heading into the fourth, 50-34. 

But the lead was too much as the Altas failed to stage a comeback, giving the Titans a 15-point victory. 

Hans Delos Reyes contributed 10 points and 7 rebounds for the Titans while Joshiel Gastador added 9 points and 3 rebounds. 

Jasper Cuevas had 13 points and 6 rebounds while John Paul Boral finished with 8 points and 12 rebounds for the Altas.
